  1. Nice one Simon, I've enjoyed a lazy Sunday afternoon with this as my soundtrack. One of my favourite things about reggae is trying to decipher the lyrics, when it is said that a young girl wants 'soldering' I'm guessing that micro-electronics is involved. Would you be able to make it available to download? Ta
Ps. This mix made me want to do the Shakira Waka waka dance!

  3. Sound track to my weekend. Thanks.Saw it on Friday morning on my way to work, and rushed home to listen to it. You know that first drink of the weekend after you kick off the shoes and a get a beer? Perfect soundtrack for that moment.

I wish I was proud of my island, and we could live as one!

Would have posted yesterday except the reggae put me in a place where I couldn't.... move.

  4. I looked it up and the island that Paulette Williams was affectionately referring to was actually the isle of wight where she has been living for the last 30 years with her mum and three black labradors. She was considering moving to Portsmouth but she heard that they were all heathens there.

enjoyed the mix, especially like the Willie Nelson number. Although listening to the never ending loop of 'no procrastination'did make me feel a little dizzy, probably something to do with the fact that i wholeheartedly support a the notion of putting off what could be done today until tomorrow!

  5. No reference to soldering in the Rasta Dictionary - http://www.niceup.com/patois.txt
, but surely you can't manufacture micro-electronics 'At the bottom of the ocean'. It just wouldn't work!
Enjoyed this one, listened on my way home from work and the last track finished just as I was pulling in to my drive - a perfect way to end the day.
