Number 6 in a series of 'plug in my mixer and play what I've been digging recently'. If you've listened to any of the other five, you'll know what to expect, mostly soul with a few extras. Been listening to a Johnny Adams album on repeat and, although not my favourite song, I just love the way he rips the arse out of 'Release Me'. Totally over-the-top, but what a voice. Tom Jones and Lulu, from when they were good, a spot of Reggae, getting increasingly Afro in flavour, and an intense three-men-in-a-small-smokey-room jazz version of Hey Jude comprise this week's 'extras'...
