I wanna major in Funk as Art and Basic Music Funkamental, but really I'm signing up for that Funk Wardrobe Lesson and the Free Your Mind Class.........and Big Barry's backing boys instrumental Strange Games - Wow! As you know, I've been living through a personal period of disco-disco-funk these last few years and I think that track is now top of my chart. Numero uno. Di-Yi. Did they make an album of instrumentals?? Anyway buddy, you certainly got me rocking and the whole mix was the perfect accompaniment to my morning school cleaning routine - which might not sound like a great compliment, but now I'm an oldster, cleaning is my clubbing. It even wound down at just the right moment and then happied up finishing with the Sylvania Eastside Symphony. I'm guessing you bought a Fred Wesley album, sounds like a great buy! Easy dude, keep on finding the funk, Simon.Ionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12180556469572925409noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1333552646932577397.post-72271444301118937012010-10-29T08:45:29.255-07:002010-10-29T08:45:29.255-07:00http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NFRENG5Z

Thanks to Simon for putting me on to the Lonnie Liston Smith tune and to Jez for the Black Man's Cry CD (a collection of different artists who were inspired by Fela). I will sort out a download in due course.Bigfacehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14107020173690075449noreply@blogger.com
